OroraTech monitors valuable assets worldwide, such as the network infrastructure of utility companies and forest areas of forestry companies, and helps states and municipalities to recognise forest fires at an early stage and make the right decisions. To do this, OroraTech uses state-of-the-art, AI-based analyses generated by a proprietary thermal-infrared sensor network in space. Outstanding successes include not only the continuous expansion of the sensor network with the FOREST-1 and FOREST-2 sensors, but also multi-year contracts with the European Commission, private energy service providers in the USA and forestry companies in South America, as well as disaster control authorities in Australia and Canada. OroraTech was founded in 2018 with the vision of using thermal intelligence to sustainably combat climate change. The company currently employs 90 people.
