For 30 years, Bayern Kapital has been investing alongside private investors in technology-focused startups and scaleups in Bavaria. From the (pre-)seed phase right through to the scaleup phase, we mirror direct investments made by venture capital funds, corporate VCs, family offices and business angels on a ‘pari passu’ basis.  

We are currently able to co-invest up to EUR 50 million per company on standard VC terms. Our portfolio currently comprises over 120 active investments.

Our focus is on technology-based and scalable product business models with attractive growth prospects. At the same time, the structure of our funds allows us to support companies seamlessly over longer periods and across multiple funding rounds, thereby providing sufficient time for research and sustainable development where required.
