Vanessa joined the Bayern Kapital investment team in March 2025 with a focus on life science.
She holds a PhD in biochemistry and has research experience in cancer and brain research as well as infectious diseases. Before joining Bayern Kapital, she worked as a consultant with a focus on commercial due diligence for private equity clients in the healthcare and life science sector.
In her free time, Vanessa can often be found on her road bike - or enjoying an iced matcha latte and a Pilates session.
