Monika Steger has been with Bayern Kapital since January 2000 and can look back on more than twenty years of venture capital experience. From 2003 onwards, she was able to bring her great enthusiasm for innovation to the company in a management position, first in the Early-Stage area and from 2015 with the establishment of the Later Stage division. In 2010 she was appointed authorised signatory and in 2012 deputy member of the management board. In addition to the tasks in investment management, her range of activities has thus been expanded to include the requirements of the organisation and management of Bayern Kapital and its fund companies. Monika Steger has been Managing Director of Bayern Kapital since April 2022.
