T-CURX GmbH is a private German biotech company based in Würzburg and Munich. The company was founded in 2017 with the vision of developing effective next-generation CAR-T-cell therapies using cost-effective and highly scalable, non-viral CAR-T-cell technology, thereby making them accessible to more cancer patients. T-CURX is a spin-out from the laboratory of T-CURX co-founder Prof. Michael Hudecek at the University of Würzburg and is led by experienced founder Dr. Ulf Grawunder as CEO. T-CURX utilizes a portfolio of proprietary, non-viral CAR-T technologies for the scalable and cost-effective production of CAR-T-cells based on a non-viral “Sleeping Beauty” transposon gene transfer into a patient's T-cells.
