Pulsetrain

PULSETRAIN GmbH, based in Munich, develops a highly integrated battery and power electronics platform for the next generation of electric powertrains.

Its technology combines the battery management system (BMS), inverter and onboard charger in a single software-defined unit. Unlike conventional battery systems, individual battery cells can be actively controlled and dynamically configured during operation, turning the battery into an actively managed component of the electric powertrain.

By combining proprietary power electronics, hardware and intelligent software, Pulsetrain aims to reduce the weight, installation space and complexity of electric powertrains while improving efficiency, charging performance and battery lifetime. The platform is designed for different cell formats and vehicle classes.
