The idea behind EGYM evolved out of our own training experiences in gyms where we wanted to do something for our health. The training offered was not suitable for the mass market. Far too often you see ordinary people fail on the very first day because the gyms offer too little guidance and too few individual options. Above all, it’s just not fun. For us, one thing is certain: a gym is only successful when the members are successful.
Our journey from intelligent power machines to a fitness ecosystem began in 2010 with an idea. Since then, it has grown into an international company with more than 350 employees in dozens of locations, working together to solve the fitness industry’s most pressing problems and develop innovative solutions.
