Safe and robust algorithms for environment perception in autonomous vehicles for agriculture, container terminals and on the motorway.

Founded in December 2012 in Garching near Munich, driveblocks offers a modular and scalable software platform for semi- and fully autonomous driving in the commercial vehicle sector.

The core technology is combination of innovative transformer neural networks and explainable sensor fusion. These algorithms make it possible to create a model of the local environment on a control panel in the vehicle while driving. Unlike existing solutions, which are based on pre-recorded high-precision maps, the new system masters unknown traffic environments and replaces the time-consuming updating of maps.  The ability to detect the surroundings in the vehicle is also an important component for the safety certification.

The solution provides customers a path to safe, quick and cost-effective automation of a wide range of applications-in agriculture, excavation, in container terminals or on the motorway. The driveblocks platform is sold both as individual modules and as a system solution via a licence model.
