With the intelligent and globally unique "Aqueduct" charging system and the "Drop Power Sharing" app, ChargeX solves the two biggest challenges in the development of charging infrastructure: the limited grid capacity and the lack of qualified personnel required for installation.
The patented Aqueduct charging system is flexibly expandable and can be installed in less than 60 seconds via plug & play - without the need for a trained electrician. The charging system has an integrated load management system that uses an intelligent charging algorithm to allocate the limited grid capacity to the connected vehicles and the individual mobility behaviour of their users in line with demand. This allows entire car parks to be developed efficiently and every car park to be turned into a charging station - with ten times more charging points with the same grid capacity and three times less installation effort.
ChargeX was founded by Tobias Wagner and Michael Masnitza in Munich in 2018. The complete package of hardware and software "Made in Germany" as well as first-class support including optional installation and maintenance has so far impressed more than 700 customers with over 4,500 charging points installed.
