The innovative linear actuators from Böhner-EH GmbH are configured from a modular system in Burghaslach, Franconia. They are available in power classes between 0.5 and 6.0 kW, allowing linear forces between one kN and several hundred kN to be represented very precisely and dynamically.
EH-D power packs are used in a wide variety of machines and systems: punching, pressing, bending or straightening systems, as a drive for mechanical joining techniques or in special machine construction. They are very compact, quiet and practically wear- and maintenance-free. Depending on the process, power savings of between 30% and 90% are possible compared to conventional hydraulics, for example.
In an EH-D power pack, all functional components are integrated in a hermetically sealed housing that can be mounted in any position. It can be connected like an electric motor. The movement and exact positioning of the directly connected hydraulic cylinder is achieved by the direction of rotation and speed of the electric motor. This enables precisely controllable and high forces over the entire travel range. The design of the EH-D has the lowest conceivable moving masses, enabling very high dynamics and energy efficiency. Wherever powerful linear movements are required in machines, where electric servo spindle drives reach their performance, durability or installation space limits, where noise and power consumption of conventional (servo) hydraulics are to be reduced or where the cost-intensive compressed air consumption of pneumo-hydraulic units is to be avoided, the EH-D power packs are a milestone towards greater energy efficiency.
