Through our Bavaria Growth Fund, we invest in companies that have already completed a Series A funding round and are subsequently seeking further equity capital. With the Growth Fund, we invest in scaleups from a wide range of sectors that have an innovative business model and an internationally scalable growth strategy.

Our Bavaria Growth Fund primarily invests in the form of equity, though in individual cases this may be combined with a subordinated loan. In most cases, we invest in collaboration with private investors.

Company stage: Series A and beyond
Investment size: €2–10 million 

We provide funding to established technology companies planning larger funding rounds for international expansion and scaling through the Bavarian Scaleup Fund (up to €25 million) or the Growth and Scaleup Fund (up to €50 million).

Through the ScaleUp Fund Bavaria (total volume: €200 million), we provide funding for expanding tech companies that are in a capital-intensive phase, are growing rapidly or are looking to realise an exit in the future.

Company stage: Series A and above, established
Investment size: €10–25 million

With a total volume of 500 million euros, the Growth and Scale-up Fund is our largest and newest fund. Through this fund, we support already successful, rapidly expanding tech companies in the later-stage phase that are looking to grow internationally or realise an exit.
