Immunic entwickelt drei Small Molecule-Produkte: Das am weitesten fortgeschrittene Entwicklungsprogramm IMU-838 ist ein selektiver Immunmodulator, der den intrazellulären Stoffwechsel von aktivierten Immunzellen hemmt, indem er das Enzym DHODH blockiert; IMU-935 ist ein inverser Agonist von RORγt; und IMU-856 zielt auf die Wiederherstellung der intestinalen Barrierefunktion ab. IMU-838 befindet sich in klinischen Phase-2-Studien zur Behandlung von COVID-19, schubförmig remittierender Multipler Sklerose, Colitis Ulcerosa und, in Kooperation mit der Mayo Clinic, primär sklerosierender Cholangitis.

IMU-838 is in phase 2 clinical development for COVID-19, relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis, ulcerative colitis and, in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic, primary sclerosing cholangitis.
